Links to some of my favourite sites

BornFree Logo www.bornfree.org.uk Website of the Born Free Foundation. Born Free are a charity operating worldwide to rescue animals from appalling conditions, whether it be in a zoo or in private hands. They also return captive wild animals to the wild. They are my favourite charity, and their work is highly commendable.

Shamwari Game Reserve Shamwari, meaning 'My Friend', is a Game Reserve in South Africa, near Port Elizabeth. It is home to the Born Free Big Cat Sanctuary, where rescued big cats, who cannot be returned to the wild, can live out their lives in peace and comfort. I am going to work at Shamwari for four weeks in the 2005 summer holiday.

Sanbona Game Reserve Another game reserve in South Africa, home to the only remaining pride of wild White Lion in the world.

www.Tigerhomes.org Homepage of an animal sanctuary, in Florida, that is dedicated to educating the world about the value of wildlife. Features many pictures, including 'Baby Photos' of one of their rare White Tigers, and live webcams of many different animals in their natural habitats, including white tigers. Great educational resource, and an extremely interesting site.

www.neopets.com Neopets is a virtual pets site, where you can create a virtual pet, and feed, play and care for it. Neopets is the largest such site on the internet, and has a complete online community.

Nalaholics Anonymous banner Nalaholics Anonymous THE website for all those who love Nala, and think that she is the hottest thing on four legs. Contains everything Nala related. including message boards, images, fanfics, fanart and downloads. includes the world-reknowned N.A.T.C (Nalaholics Anonymous Therapy Centre) where Nalaholics can recieve therapy for their addiction, and be taught how to control it.

VitaiTiger's Homepage Once, there was going to be a tiger cub called Vitai. Sadly, something went wrong before he was born, and he was born into a human body. This is his webpage, where he tells you about himself, and shares his joys, his sorrows and his plans for the future. Read about how hard it is for a tiger to fit in with humans, and how people act towards him. He doesn't want pity, just to be accepted, and treated with the respect that his species deserves.

I will add other good links as I find them
